Preparation: Thoroughly wash 250 g of clean basmati rice and soak for 20 minutes. Add the rice to 2 liters of lightly salted boiling water. Boil for 10 minutes. Drain in a sieve. Pour the rice into a bowl. Add a little butter or margarine to keep the grains separate.

Store in a dry and cool place in a closed container.
